How do I add another website to my personal hosting plan?

Firstly you would need to login to your cPanel hosting account. You'll need to ensure you've either purchased the domain name from Pixeno (in which case the nameserver settings will be initially correct), or at your existing domain registrar for the domain name you wish to use, set the nameservers to:
  • ns1.pixeno.com
  • ns2.pixeno.com
  • ns3.pixeno.com
Once logged in, you can navigate to the Addon Domains section. You’ll need to fill out the "Create an Addon Domain" section as follows:
  • Enter your new websites domain name into the "New Domain Name Section".
  • The subdomain/FTP user will autocomplete when clicked off, or if you press tab.
  • The document root is where you wish to store the files for your new website. The best practice is in the root, create a new public_html folder e.g. public_html_newdomainhere
  • Then add a password for the website, this is only for direct FTP access for this website only (injunction with the FTP user above).
Once you've completed this section, click Add Domain to save. If you’ve followed these steps correctly it should go through fine, however please open a support ticket if you have any issues.

Please remember you'll need to wait 24 hours after changing these settings for the DNS caches to refresh, so you have access to the new website on Pixeno's servers.
